Mumbai, Agency: Five people have been injured in an accident caused by a cylinder explosion in the Vile Parle area of the country’s commercial capital Mumbai. The incident at 6 am on Tuesday took place near New Kalpana Chawl located near the Western Express Highway.

The officials concerned said that five people in the age group of 27 to 45 years were injured in the accident, who were taken to nearby V.N. Desai has been admitted to the hospital. At present, the condition of the injured is said to be stable.

BMC officials said, Level-1 cylinder blast took place in New Kalpana Chawl. He said, we received information about the accident at 6 am, after which we reached the spot. Five people injured in the accident have been identified as Jairam Yadav, Hare Kumar Rai, Rakesh Kumar Rai, Arun Kumar Rach and Amar Rai. All the injured have been admitted to VN Desai Hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. The condition of the five injured is said to be stable, officials said.
Another incident of cylinder explosion came to light just a few days ago from Arnia Maujpur village of Khurja Junction outpost area of Bulandshahr, in which a domestic cylinder exploded causing damage to the house as well as badly burning of a person. notification was received. The injured was referred to Delhi for better treatment. Due to this sudden explosion, there was panic in the surrounding neighborhood as well.
