Shah Rukh Khan from Pathaan has made a comeback on the big screen with a bang after four years. The film’s strong opening day collections continued on the second day as well and it has broken all the records of previous films. Pathaan, which earned more than 100 worldwide on the very first day, took full advantage of the January 26 holiday and now its pace is not going to stop.
Pathaan dominated the world
On the first day itself, Pathaan proved that he is a horse for a long race. At the domestic box office, the film did a business of more than 57 crores and on the second day this figure reached beyond 72 crores. All over the world, the fans of Shah Rukh Khan have shown that he is the real king of Bollywood. There is a tremendous craze about Pathaan in foreign countries and most of the shows houses are going full. Pathaan holds the record for the highest collection beating KGF 2, War, Avengers Endgame and Thugs of Hindustan.
Pathaan crossed 200 crores in two days
Pathaan’s charm remained intact on the second day around the world. According to the report of Bollywood Movie Review, the film has done business between 205 to 215 crores. With this, it has become the first Bollywood film to earn more than 200 crores in two days. The film did a business of 126 to 130 crores across the country in all languages. Pathaan was released on 8000 screens worldwide. Out of which 5500 screens are included only in the country.
Pathaan broke all records
As per reports in Bollywood Hungama, Pathaan has a budget of 260 which will be covered by Friday’s earnings. In such a situation, the film seems to be going above the cost in its first weekend itself. Earlier in the year 2016, Aamir Khan’s Dangal was such a big hit. Till date, no film has been able to break the record of Dangal, but now it seems that Pathaan has started on this path.
