Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s name has been synonymous with Colors TV’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss. The actor has been hosting the reality series since Bigg Boss season 4 and fans can’t see anyone else taking his place on the show.
Last Year, there were speculations that Salman is returning to host the 16th season of India’s most-watched reality show.
Superstar Salman Khan is staying true to his ‘star’ status and actually turning into a star that’s far away in a galaxy we cannot reach, at least in terms of his finances. The actor who has been hosting India’s most watched and biggest controversial show Bigg Boss was in the news last year for his fee hike for the season which was around Rs 350 crores.
Reportedly, the Tere Naam star asked for a massive fee hike and could be paid Rs 1000 crore for the upcoming season. While it is not yet confirmed, the latest buzz suggested that Vicky Kaushal may replace Salman as the host of Bigg Boss 16.
owever, now it has been revealed that the ongoing rumours of Vicky Kaushal being approached for Bigg Boss are untrue. Revealing the same, a source close to the filmmaker told “News about Vicky Kaushal being approached for hosting Bigg Boss 16 is completely false. Nobody has approached Vicky Kaushal for the show.”
Salman has asked for a three-time hike in fees considering that he hasn’t got a big raise in the past few seasons. This time he is adamant that until he doesn’t get a hike, he won’t be hosting the show, though there is no confirmation on the same.” While the final list of contestants is not out yet, as per various reports, some names that have been approached include Divyanka Tripathi, Shivangi Joshi and Arjun Bijlani as well.
