This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a haven for photographers and nature lovers. This trek is noted for sharp climbs, slim passages and, of course, marvellous views of the surrounding areas.
It will take some hours for trekkers to climb the vigorous landscapes to reach the valley, which is worth all the effort. Once there, you will be busy appreciating the beauty around, but make sure you wrap it up soon, as you will be required to return the same day.
2. Chopta
This is another popular trek in Uttarakhand that deserves all the mention for its diversity. The trek starts from Ukhimath, and takes the trekkers through Deoria Tal, before arriving at Chopta. Then, you proceed towards Tungnath, which serves as an important base of the Chopta Chandrashila Trek, finally arriving at Chandrashila summit, from where one can enjoy views of numerous peaks including the Chaukhamba Peak, Trishul Peak, Bandarpunch Peak, Nanda Devi Peak, and Kedarnath Peak.
3.Nag Tibba Trek
Set at around 10000 ft above the sea level, this will take you through the dense forests of oak and deodars, and is considerably easy to attempt. Along the way, the breathtakingly beautiful views of Kedarnath Peak, Bandarpunch Peak, and the Gangotri peaks that will accompany you, while the quaint villages will let you take a break for a while. And, if you are keen for some adventure, set up a tent here and enjoy stargazing at night.
