In the Men’s Category in the Round 2 of INBL Noida, RTK Ballers swept the opposition with a dominant performance winning the finals against Defeating the Greek Freaks (21-10). STG, in a hard-fought battle, secured the third position by defeating the Meerut Boys (17-14).
In the Women’s Category, the Hoop Company and the Warriors fought a thriller match with the Hoops Co. piping Warriors (13-11) to clinch the title. In another nail-biting contest for the third-place position, the Skill Junction narrowly defeated the balls hogs (8-7).
Mr Parveen Batish, CEO, INBL (INDIAN NATIONAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE) said they are working on overall development of talented players & help them to reach bigger platforms. Mr Batish said, the prize money, for this FIBA 3×3 (International Basketball Federation) endorsed event, is in excess of Rs. 20 lakhs. The winners of the men’s section competition in the INBL 3×3 Season 2 National Finals will qualify to play in the FIBA 3×3 World Tour Shanghai Challenger (which in turn is a qualifying event for the Chendgu FIBA 3×3 World Tour Masters), a testament to the league’s commitment to fostering international participation and FIBA 3×3 recognition.
More than 700 teams have registered for Season 2, emphasizing the growing popularity and widespread enthusiasm for basketball and the league. INBLs main objective in organizing city-based open FIBA 3×3 endorsed competition is to provide a platform for all basketballers to participate and showcase their talent. The National finals will return to the prestigious Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium from June 30th – July 2nd.
