Chandrayaan 3: Lucknow scientist playing an important role in launching

The Indian Institute of Internal Research (ISRO) will launch the Chandrayaan-3 mission on 14 July. Ritu Karidhal, an alumnus of Lucknow University, has got an important responsibility in the team which is working day and night to make this campaign a success. The Vice-Chancellor, teachers and officials of Lucknow University are very happy to see their former student getting representation in Chandrayaan-3 mission.

Dean of Lucknow University Student Welfare Professor Poonam Tandon told that Ritu Karidhal is a resident of Rajajipuram. He took admission in B.Sc Physics in the year 1991. Then completed MSc Physics degree in 1996. She was a brilliant student from the beginning. He was interested in Space Physics. After that he also took admission in PhD physics. But only after six months, in the year 1997, she was selected in ISRO, due to which she could not complete her PhD.

Lavi had given honorary degree in 2019

Lavi honored his former student Ritu Karidhal with an honorary degree at the 2019 convocation. After the ceremony, Ritu Karidhal also interacted with the students in Malviya Auditorium. Professor Poonam Tandon told that Ritu Karidhal has also been the Mission Director in Chandrayaan-2. He has vast experience in ISRO.
