An eight-year-old boy named Gopal Krishna, son of visually impaired parents proves that responsibility doesn’t come with age boundaries. It’s a heartwarming incident when you come across a child who is more into family responsibilities at the age of studying and enjoying childhood. Gopal Krishna, an eight-year-school boy has taken to driving an electric auto to feed his visually impaired parents in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor.
Gopal Krishna’s mother and father sell vegetables and groceries in the Chandragiri town of Chittoor. however, it is not enough to feed the family. being the eldest sibling in the family, Gopal said he has been driving the e-auto to make ends meet. He studies in class 3rd and drives the vehicles in his free time.
Every day, Gopal Krishna wearing his school uniform can be seen taking his mother and father to the spot near Chandragiri hospital where they sell groceries. “After my studies, I take my mother and my father to places in the auto. being an elder son, it’s my responsibility to help the family,” he said.
gopal’s father, Papi reddy, said he and his wife were 100 percent visually impaired .” we have three sons. our elder son helps us earn money after his studies,” he said. Parvati, Gopal’s mother has appealed to the government to help her children in completing their education.
” We want the government to increase our pension. currently, we get only RS 3,000/- as pension. we will be grateful if the government also provides us a house and help in the education of our kids” Parvati requested.
