Kerala class 9 exams: supreme court puts a stay on physical class 9 exams in Kerala scheduled to commence from September 5 for one week. The supreme court bench headed by justice khanwilkar says that the situation in Kerala is alarming with reference to the COVID -19 cases.
the supreme court, said, “children of tender age cannot be exposed to risks”. Kerala is accounting for 70% of the cases.
justice Hrishikesh Roy said,” I have been the chief justice of Kerala, and I can say that Kerala has one of the best medical infrastructures in the country. despite that Kerala is not able to constrain COVID cases”
Kerala government has asked the council of state to ensure that anyone can get infected in this practice. “give us an assurance. and then even if one case is reported then we’ll hold you accountable” said the supreme court.
