‘The Kerala Story’ has been made tax free in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has issued instructions to make this movie tax free. It is believed that CM Yogi Adityanath can watch this film along with his cabinet. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath tweeted from his official social media account on Tuesday, saying- “The Kerala Story’ will be made tax free in Uttar Pradesh.”
At the same time, MLA from Deoria Shalabh Mani Tripathi also shared this information by tweeting from his social media handle. He wrote – “The Kerala Story” tax free in UP!!

Uttar Pradesh has now become the second Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled state after Madhya Pradesh to give tax-free status to ‘The Kerala Story’. MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced on Saturday that the film will be tax-free in the state, a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi credited the movie for bringing out terror conspiracies during a rally in poll-bound Karnataka.
Earlier, ‘The Kerala Story’ has been made tax free in Madhya Pradesh. At the same time, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has banned it in the state. Earlier, the tickets of this film were canceled in Tamil Nadu as well.
‘The Kerala Story’, which stars Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani, and Sonia Balani in the lead roles, is directed by Sudipto Sen and was released across the country on May 5.
