New revelations are coming to the fore in the police investigation in the Nikki Yadav Murder Case in the national capital Delhi. According to the latest information, the accused Sahil Gehlot was with the deceased Nikki Yadav on the night of 9 February. Both roamed the streets of Delhi for several hours. During this, the accused killed him in a parking lot near Nigambodh Ghat.
After the murder of Nikki Yadav, Sahil deleted all the data including WhatsApp chats from her phone. Delhi Police’s Crime Branch is scanning CCTV cameras installed at Uttam Nagar-Nizamuddin-Kashmiri Gate to gather more information regarding the incident. Along with this, the police have also questioned some people living near Nikki Yadav’s rented house in Uttam Nagar. News agency ANI has given this information quoting police sources today i.e. on Thursday.
Murder under conspiracy, was misleading Nikki’s father
According to police officials, the investigation so far has revealed that Sahil had come late at night after their engagement with the intention of killing Nikki. Took her out of the house on the pretext of taking her for a ride. We are not relying on the statements of the accused.
Accused Sahil was also misleading Nikki’s father. Police told that after not being able to talk to Nikki, her father Sunil had taken Sahil’s number from his younger daughter. When they talked to Sahil, he said that Nikki has gone to visit Mussoorie, Dehradun with her friends. He also had to go but he is married so he could not go.
