Two soldiers were killed and four others were injured in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in Kandi area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. While giving information on Friday, the officials said that the army had received information about the presence of terrorists in the Kandi forest of Rajouri sector.
An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri on Friday. During the search operation, the terrorists blasted with explosives in retaliation. Four jawans including an officer were injured in the attack. At the same time, two soldiers have been sacrificed in this attack. The injured personnel have been admitted to the Command Hospital, Udhampur. Meanwhile, mobile internet service has been stopped in Rajouri of Jammu and Kashmir.
Internet service ban in the area
Internet service has been suspended as a precautionary measure amid the ongoing encounter in Rajouri. Officials said mobile internet services have been called off for the time being in view of the security arrangements in the area on Friday.
Army action continues after Poonch attack
On April 20, five army personnel were killed in a terrorist attack in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Since this attack, the Indian Army has been continuously campaigning against the terrorists. Continuous search operations are being conducted in Jammu and Kashmir.
