Revathy the actress turned director and Kajol have discussed beginning their shoot for the upcoming film, titled the last hurrah. while Revathy will direct the film, Kajol will be seen playing the lead role. Kajol was last seen in tribhanga. her upcoming film the last hurrah is inspired by a true story and real characters. the film tells a tale of an exemplary mother, Sujata who battled the most challenging situations one can ever face with a smile. the film is currently in the pre-production phase and will soon go on floors.
When talking about her first movie as a director with Kajol and choosing this story for her, Revathy shares,” Sujata’s journey in The Last Hurrah is extremely close to my heart. it’s not only relatable but also inspiring. when Suraj, shraddha and I were discussing this film, Kajol was the first person who came to our mind. her soft yet energetic eyes and beautiful smile will make you believe that anything is possible and this is how exactly Sujata is.
