Indian tennis star Sania Mirza will now be seen playing her new innings in cricket. Royal Challengers Bangalore has appointed Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza as a mentor for the upcoming Women’s Premier League.
Sania Mirza won six Grand Slam titles in her career. He played his last major tournament at the 2023 Australian Open. Sania competed there in the mixed doubles event with Rohan Bopanna and finished runners-up. However, RCB announced the appointment of Sania Mirza as a mentor through their official social media handles.
While our coaching staff handle the cricket side of things, we couldn’t think of anyone better to guide our women cricketers about excelling under pressure.
Join us in welcoming the mentor of our women's team, a champion athlete and a trailblazer! 🙌
