There is a tug-of-war between the Aam Aadmi Party and the BJP over the standing committee elections in Delhi MCD. Now information is coming that it has started from 10.30 am on Friday. BJP and AAP councilors are once again witnessing a huge uproar in the House.
Vote one by one: Shelly Oberoi
Initiating the proceedings of the House, Delhi Mayor Shaili Oberoi urged everyone to vote one by one.
Pawan Sehrawat voted
Councilor Pawan Sehrawat, who joined BJP from AAP, has cast his vote for the Standing Committee. During Sehrawat’s voting, the BJP councilors stood up and applauded and encouraged him.
AAP got a shock before the elections
With Sehrawat joining the BJP, the way has become easier for the BJP to win the Narela zone. AAP has 10 members in this zone while BJP has 6 members. If four aldermen vote for BJP, then the number of members with BJP will also increase to 10 and with the arrival of Pawan Sehrawat, BJP will win in this zone.
