Amazing collection of Adipurush
PVR, INOX and Cinepolis dominated bookings for the Hindi version in national chains with a combined sale of 2.30 lakh tickets over the weekend, while the Telugu version sold 1.20 lakh tickets across three multiplexes. What bodes well for Adipurush is also the fact that advance bookings for the weekend are evenly split. Being a family film, it can make a big bang at the box office.
The film will cross 100 crores on opening day.
Apart from metro, there is good response for the film in small towns as well. Before Adipurush, Pathan had collected more than 100 crores worldwide on the first day itself. Ajay Bagdai, a distributor in the Rajkot region of Gujarat, predicted that the film would do “Rs 200 crore” business in the first weekend.
