BJP and AAP councillor clashed at Civic Centre ahead of Delhi Mayor elections

The House had to be adjourned due to a scuffle and scuffle between AAP and BJP councilors amid the ongoing election for the Mayor of the capital Delhi. This has happened for the first time in the history of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi that the House was adjourned on the day of the Mayor’s election without the Mayor’s election. Now the LG will fix the next date of the House and on that day the Mayor of Delhi will be elected.

Election of mayor, deputy mayor and six members of the standing committee will be held at Civic Center, the headquarters of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) along with oath of office and secrecy to the winning councillors. Let us tell you that on December 7, the results of the MCD elections were declared. Aam Aadmi Party won 134 seats and BJP won 104 seats. While Congress got 9, while others got 3 seats.
