After the Bharatiya Janata Party, now the Congress has also released its manifesto for the assembly elections in Karnataka. Party president Mallikarjuna released the manifesto. It has been said in the manifesto that if Congress comes to power, Bajrang Dal will be completely banned.
Congress’s answer against Uniform Civil Code
The BJP had recently released its Sankalp Patra, in which Uniform Civil Code (UCC) was given prominence. In response to which Congress has now promised to ban Bajrang Dal. Along with this, it has been said from the Congress side that while the BJP is working to divide the people in the state, the Congress is committed to all religions and classes.

It has also been said in the manifesto that action will be taken against any organization which is trying to spread hatred on the basis of religion and caste in the society if the Congress government is formed. We believe that the law and the Constitution are sacred, which cannot be violated by Bajrang Dal, PFI or any organization.”
Five major guarantees of the Congress in the manifesto
Along with this, guarantees are also being given to the people of the state time and again by the Congress. In this, free electricity up to 200 units to all under Griha Jyoti Yojana from the party, Rs 2,000 per month to each female head under Griha Lakshmi Yojana.
Mallikarjun Kharge gave the ‘sixth guarantee’
Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has also given the sixth guarantee. He has said that as a sixth guarantee, all the promises made in the first cabinet meeting will be implemented on the very first day of government formation. Significantly, the manifesto was released in the presence of former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC President DK Shivakumar and Congress spokesperson Pawan Kheda.
