Delhi government hospitals for Corona, preparations tested by mock drill

A state-level mock drill was conducted to assess the preparedness of Delhi government hospitals, including Lok Nayak, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial and Satyawadi Raja Harish Chandra Hospitals, to test the preparedness of Corona treatment and control of the situation amid increasing cases of corona in the national capital Delhi. . Under the mock drill, where the mock drill lasted for two hours in Loknayak Jai Prakash Hospital, the preparations were tested for an hour in other hospitals as well.

For critical patients who need to be shifted to the ICU, we have a red corridor, said Dr Suresh Kumar, Medical Director, LNJP. All the ventilators and oxygen points here were checked whether they were working properly or not. He said that we have about 450 beds for corono infected patients.

He said, though SRHCH does not have a facility to treat Covid, instructions were issued to ensure that all necessary measures are in place. Said, during the drill, we checked the availability of beds and oxygen, requirement of staff and other supporting factors, which would be required to attend to Covid patients in future.

153 new cases to Corona

Cases of corona virus infection are increasing in Delhi. The infection rate has reached 9.13 percent. On Sunday, 153 new cases of corona were reported. 96 patients have also been cured in 24 hours. It is a matter of relief that no patient has died due to corona in 24 hours. At present there are 340 active patients of Corona. Out of which 35 patients are admitted in hospitals.
