Delhi News: Car drags girl for 4 kilometers, Delhi police files FIR, a case was registered against 5 people

Dragged the girl for 11 km

It is noteworthy that on the eve of New Year, a hair-raising incident took place in Sultanpuri police station area of ​​outer Delhi. In this, the youth immersed in alcohol intoxication and New Year’s celebration kept dragging the girl riding a scooty trapped in the car after the collision. Due to this, rags of flesh as well as clothes flew away from the girl’s body, but the youths did not stop the car. After about 11 km, the accused took out the dead body of the girl by backing the car and fled.

Meanwhile, her dead body had turned into a skeleton and both her legs, head and other parts of her body were severed. After the accident, the police identified the Baleno car with the help of CCTV cameras and arrested five youths. The accused have been identified as Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishna, Mithun and Manoj Mittal, all residents of Vijay Vihar. A case of hit and run has been registered against them.

Regarding this incident, Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor Vinay Kumar Saxena has given his response by tweeting. On the incident of dragging the girl for several kilometers on the road, the LG tweeted, “My head hangs in shame at the inhuman crime that took place in Kanjhawala-Sultanpuri this morning and I am shocked at the monstrous insensitivity of the criminals.”

He said in another tweet that the matter is being monitored with the Commissioner of Police Delhi and the accused have been nabbed. All aspects are being thoroughly considered. Even all possible help will be ensured to the victim’s family.

 

What did the girl do

According to the police, the girl, a resident of Aman Vihar, used to welcome guests at wedding ceremonies. Late in the night, she had gone to a relative’s birthday party in Kanjhawala area. At around 3:30 in the night, she was going to Aman Vihar by scooty.

On the way, on a narrow road near Sultanpuri, a speeding Baleno car coming from the opposite side hit him. Due to this, the girl got trapped between the front wheels of the car. Even after the accident, the youth continued to drive the car. When passers-by saw the girl being dragged along with the car, they informed the police. Based on the number of the car given by the caller, the police alerted the picket on the road leading to Kanjhawala, but the girl could not be traced.
