A fierce fire broke out in a tent shop located under a house in the boundary area of Loni, Ghaziabad, at around 6.30 am on Monday morning.
10 people were trapped in the house after the shop was set on fire. Those who were taken out by the ladder from the back side by breaking the wall.
At the same time, two fire tenders from Tronica City and one from Sahibabad reached the spot as soon as the fire was reported in the shop and after some time the fire was completely controlled.
Two women died
Chief Fire Officer Rahul Pal said that two women were burnt due to the fire. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. In the initial investigation, the cause of the fire in the shop is known to be short circuit.
Everyone was on the top floor. Mamta was sleeping in the second floor and Bharato got stuck there. People around informed the police and fire department. The fire brigade team reached the information and controlled the fire. The fire had spread to all three floors.
