The controversy over the controversial comment on Ramcharit Manas has now gone a step further, with copies of the holy book being burnt as a protest during the OBC Mahasabha in Lucknow on Sunday. 10 people, including Swami Prasad Maurya, have been named in this matter, as well as a case has been registered against some unknown people.

Here he also made it clear that this is his personal statement but Akhilesh Yadav has cleared the stand of the party by breaking his silence on this subject.
