Amit Kumar (Gurgaon) committed suicide on the 30-Aug-22 morning and to date, there’s no movement on this case. He left a 5-page suicide note alleging extreme humiliation by his company ‘Optum Global Solutions’ over charges of sexual harassment by a colleague ‘Archana’ which he said were false and was only about him reprimanding the girl for constant cab delays. His family is trying to seek justice but there’s no help yet from either Gurgaon Police or the management of Optum Global Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (a UHG company)

Ironically the company which Amit worked with – Optum is owned by UnitedHealth Group a leading healthcare company but they didn’t even speak to the grieving family for a week after his suicide.
A share and support from you all could help a fellow college get justice. Remember it can happen to anyone and the real truth must come out all we are asking is as following:
1. An inquiry by Gurgaon Police talking to each person involved as mentioned in the suicide letter of Amit
2. Details from the management of the company about that meeting where these allegations were made (minutes of the meeting and names of the people in attendance)
3. CCTV footage of these incidents as they were taking place. I urge you now to stand up for #JusticeForAmitKumar. He’s just another family guy who was trying to build his career and serve his wife and children in the best way possible. His wife has stood up for him but she needs help… will you stand up?
