A speeding roadways bus hit a Mercedes car from behind near the Galgotia underpass on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. The collision was so strong that the Mercedes fell down from the underpass. Thankfully, where the car fell, there was mud. Due to this the driver did not get any serious injury.
Around 15 passengers got hurt
After the accident, about 15 passengers in the bus were also injured. All have been sent to the hospital for first aid due to minor injuries. Additional DCP Greater Noida Ashok Kumar said that the roadways bus was coming from Noida side towards Greater Noida Pari Chowk around 1:15 pm on Thursday.
Bus driver lost control
As the bus reached near the Galgotia underpass, the driver lost control of the bus and rammed into the Mercedes car from behind. After the accident, a crowd of people gathered on the spot. Traffic was disrupted for some time. However, within 10 to 15 minutes the traffic was started smoothly. The injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The roadways driver is being taken into custody and being interrogated.
Mercedes caught fire after collision
On the other hand, the name of the driver driving the Mercedes car is Raghav Gupta, who lives in Beta II sector of Greater Noida. The Mercedes car also caught fire after the incident. On receiving the information, the fire engine reached the spot and doused the fire.
