In this match, Kiwi captain Kane won the toss and decided to bat first. Playing first, New Zealand’s team scored 152 for 4 in 20 overs on the basis of Daryl Milch’s unbeaten half-century and Pakistan got a target of 153 runs to win. Pakistan team won the match by scoring 153 runs for 3 wickets in 19.1 overs with 7 wickets remaining.
Babar and Rizwan’s fifties
Babar Azam completed his fifty in this match with the help of 7 fours in 38 balls and this was his 30th international fifty. He scored 53 runs in 41 balls in this match and took the first wicket of Mohd. Together with Rizwan, he made a century partnership of 105 runs. Babar, who batted poorly in the Super 12 stage, returned to form at the right time. Mo. Rizwan completed his half-century off 36 balls and scored 57 runs in 43 balls in this match and was caught out.
