Legendary Brazilian footballer Edson Arantes do Nascimento ‘Pele‘ died here on Thursday at the age of 82. He was battling stomach cancer since 2021 and was hospitalized for the last one month. He had been admitted to the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital in São Paulo since 29 November. Pele was also suffering from kidney and cardiac dysfunction. Official information about the death of three-time World Cup winner Pele has been given by his family members. Giving information about his death on Instagram, Pele’s daughter Kelly Nascimento wrote, ‘Whatever we are, it is because of you. We love you infinitely. Rest in Peace.
