Rewa Accident: Traumatic road accident in Rewa, 15 killed, more than 40 injured in bus and truck collision

Suhagi Hills Road Accident in Rewa: A horrific accident has occurred due to the collision of three vehicles in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. 15 people died in the accident and more than 40 people were injured. The accident happened on National Highway 30 (NH-30) connecting the border of Uttar Pradesh (Uttar Pradesh) and Madhya Pradesh (MP).

According to the information, the accident happened on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday (21-22 October). At the time when this accident happened, the bus was going from Jabalpur to Prayagraj via Rewa. As soon as the information was received, the Sohagi Police reached the spot and pulled out the passengers trapped in the bus. The injured have been admitted to Toonthar Civil Hospital.

Rewa Superintendent of Police gave this information

Rewa Superintendent of Police Navneet Bhasin informed that 15 people died in the collision of bus, trolley and truck near Suhagi hill. He said that out of 40 injured, 20 have been admitted to a hospital in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The bus had left from Hyderabad and was to reach Gorakhpur. The people in the bus were residents of UP, Bihar and Nepal.

According to Rewa SP, while descending from the Suhagi hill, a trolley collided with a truck moving ahead and then the bus rammed into it. The people who lost their lives in the accident are being told from Balrampur, Gonda and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh.

CM Shivraj expressed grief

According to the information, more than 100 people were aboard the bus. People were returning to their homes on the festival. In the accident, 3 people died on the spot while 11 people died during treatment in the hospital. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over this accident and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased.

Third vehicle escaped from the spot

After the accident, the bus and truck are being told on the spot while the third vehicle escaped. The police is trying to find out which way the third vehicle went with the help of CCTV cameras of the nearby toll plaza. The people who lost their lives in the accident and injured are said to be laborers. At present, the administration is trying to contact the families of the dead and injured.

The officials of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have been informed about the accident. The identity of the dead will be revealed soon. Eyewitnesses said that the accident happened due to lack of brakes. Some of those who were trapped in the bus due to the accident have got their hands and feet amputated. At present, the injured are being treated in the hospital.
