Vivek Agnihotri issued a statement after being acquitted of the charges

The name of Vivek Agnihotri, director of The Kashmir Files, has often been associated with controversies. Vivek, who has expressed his opinion on every issue with impunity, has also come under the media’s target many times. Last day, the director was in the news regarding the contempt of court case, regarding which he has now issued a statement and reprimanded the biased attitude of the media.

Vivek Agnihotri issued the statement sharing a post on Twitter on Tuesday. The director said, “My statement on yesterday’s case in the Delhi High Court in a criminal contempt case. The way the news is presented against me by some biased media and political parties is completely wrong.” Along with this, Vivek issued a two-page statement.

Vivek Agnihotri told the full story of the contempt case in the post. Vivek said that in the year 2018, whose post he shared on his Twitter against Orissa High Court Chief Justice Muralidhar, he removed the original post after the court’s notice and later apologized. In such a situation, Vivek himself had to back down in the whole matter and on April 10, he went to the court and apologized unconditionally. Along with this, the court also canceled his case.

Vivek further added that he has utmost respect for the Indian Judiciary and will never say or write anything which is baseless and against the sanctity of our Judiciary, which is one of the pillars of our nation. .

Vivek Agnihotri also revealed the constant harassment he faced after his controversial film The Kashmir Files. He said that after the release of The Kashmir Files, he was harassed both online and in person by various sections including extremists, separatists, media, political parties.
